I'm a native of Olive Branch, MS. I earned my B.B.A. from the University of Mississippi in May of 2009 and my Juris Doctor from Mississippi College School of Law in May of 2012.
While in law school, I completed externships with the Mississippi Office of Indigent Appeals and the Hinds County Public Defenders Office. I also worked as a law clerk for the Mississippi Attorney General's Office - Criminal Appeals Division and The Law Offices of Vic Carmody. I was honored to earn the pro bono service distinction upon graduation for dedication to public service. Prior to entering solo practice, I spent two years clerking for Circuit Court Judge Lester F. Williamson, Jr. of the Tenth Judicial District.
Over the past four years, I've worked as a private criminal defense attorney and public defender in Lauderdale and Kemper County Circuit Court.
In the Fall of 2017, I expanded my practice and opened an office in Olive Branch (Desoto County). I'm now practicing criminal defense as a private attorney in North Mississippi and also work as a public defender in Desoto County Circuit Court.
Over the course of my career, I've represented hundreds of people charged with felony offenses and argued numerous cases before a jury, including: armed robbery, aggravated assault, attempted murder, kidnapping, sexual battery, statutory rape and grand larceny.
